Shred Station is through to the finals for three Norfolk Business Awards!
Shred Station’s story began in Norfolk in 2008. A small business then, with just one shredding truck providing shredding services to local businesses, it’s safe to say we’ve grown significantly. But our roots are not forgotten.
Now a national provider of shredding services, Shred Station maintains, to this day, a strong presence in Norfolk. Over a decade later, our head office and one of our depots are still based in the Norwich area. With Norfolk close to the heart of our business, it’s with great pride we announce that we have been named as finalists for not one, not two, but three Norfolk Business Awards!
Customer Excellence Award Finalist
The first of the three awards we are in the finals for is the Customer Excellence Award. Being named as a finalist for this award is a testament to our commitment to providing excellent customer experiences. Whether a customer is a domestic shredding customer with just a few bags to shred or a multi-site large business shredding customer on a regular schedule, they are treated exactly the same.
Protecting customer data is at the forefront of everything we do. But we also strive to go above and beyond what a customer would expect from a shredding service provider. With numerous customer-driven initiatives, constant innovation, and an industry-leading review score across multiple review platforms, it’s safe to say that Shred Station customers are happy customers.
Green Business of the Year Finalist
We are also delighted to be finalists for the Green Business of the Year award. Our environmental commitments are a key pillar in our ethos, and we have many policies in place to protect the world around us. In addition to the measures we follow to reduce our emissions, anything we can’t reduce we offset to net-zero. This has earned us CarbonNeutral® certification, something we have held since 2019. To be a finalist for the Green Business of the Year award is another fantastic achievement for us, and we believe all efforts to be greener should be celebrated.
SME of the Year Finalist
With so many fantastic businesses in Norfolk, we were up against some stiff competition to be a finalist in the SME of the Year category. Earning a place in the finals for this award is a wonderful achievement for us. Considerations for this award include performance and stability in the market, commitment to business purpose, and commitments to our community, customers and staff. The judges also considered our innovations, commitments to environmental sustainability and investments into growth. Our finalist position for this award showcases how we are doing as a business overall. It demonstrates our place not only in the shredding industry but also in the Norfolk community.
Being named finalists for these awards is a huge achievement in itself. We are exceptionally proud of our team for their hard work. Their exceptional knowledge of the shredding industry and dedication to customers is second-to-none. Their efforts have got us where we are today, as has the support of our ever-growing base of loyal customers.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Norfolk Showground on Thursday 25th November 2021. We hope to see many other local businesses there and wish all of the other finalists the best of luck.
