Our Employees of the Quarter – 2021 Q4

At Shred Station, we know how important it is to recognise the efforts of our team. That’s why we host a quarterly peer-voted award to celebrate their achievements. Our Employee of the Quarter awards encourages our teams to exchange positive feedback with each other and focus on the great work they do each quarter. Each category winner receives a gift voucher and company-wide recognition of their efforts.

Our Employees of the Quarter for Q4 of 2021 are…

  • Dan Carter – Manchester Shredding Depot
  • David Lines – Norwich Shredding Depot
  • Dawn Cordner – National office and remote staff

Ekpen Ogbeide – Harlow Shredding Depot.

Ekpen is a driver’s mate based at our Harlow Shredding depot. This quarter he has received very high praise for his positive attitude, thoughtfulness and dedication. He is a highly valued colleague by all at the Harlow depot. Ekpen’s day-to-day work consists of driving, assisting other drivers, and completing on-site shredding services and off-site shredding collections in London, Essex, and the surrounding areas.

“Extremely hard-working and goes out of his way to help others. He  is always friendly.”

Dan Carter – Manchester Shredding Depot.

Dan Carter is a driver at our Manchester shredding depot. In Q4 of 2021, not only did he impress his colleagues in Manchester, but he also received high praise from our Harlow depot management after travelling down to cover some routes for a week.

Here are just some of the comments Dan’s peers made:

“Dan came down to help at Harlow, he was very helpful and polite and did a lot to help us out with a smile.”

“He came to help out Harlow for a week and he was fantastic to the extent I’d want him to come and work for us instead!”

David Lines – Norwich Shredding Depot.

David is one of the drivers based from our Norwich shredding depot. He services customers all across the UK, delivering professional and highly secure shredding services to hundreds of customers each month.

“David goes the extra mile for the customer, is polite and is a good ambassador for Shred Station.”

Dawn Cordner – UK Office and Remote Staff.

Dawn is a relatively new member of our head office administration team, making her win even more impressive! Picking up the reigns extremely quickly and hitting the ground running has won Dawn the Employee of the Quarter award for Shred Station’s entire team of UK office-based and remote-based staff.

Here are some of the reasons Dawn won this quarter:

“She is always happy to help anyone, no matter how busy she is herself, always smiling and is fantastic with customers.”

“Happy positive staff member has settled into her role and is just a great person to have around the place.”
