Shred Station wins Green Business of the Year Award!
We are delighted to share the news that Shred Station has won the Green Business of the Year award at this year’s Norfolk Business Awards.
The award demonstrates our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint through innovative and sustainable practices, pushing towards a green economy.
Our environmental commitments are a key pillar in our ethos, and we have many eco policies in place to protect the world around us and reduce our emissions. Anything we can’t reduce we offset to net-zero. This has earned us CarbonNeutral® certification, a certification we’ve held since 2019. We even have plans to go carbon negative.
To win this award in Norfolk, the birthplace of Shred Station, is truly a great privilege and is a testament to how far we’ve come since our formation in 2008.

A special mention to these three other category finalists. We firmly believe all efforts to reduce environmental impacts are worth celebrating. Any business that goes above and beyond to do so is a winner in our eyes. Thank you also to Lovell Partnership for sponsoring this category.
We were also finalists in two of the other awards – the Customer Excellence Award and the SME of the Year Award. While we didn’t win in these categories, we are incredibly proud to have been named finalists. Congratulations to both of the winners of those categories, and to every other finalist and winner. There were many wonderful businesses at the awards and we had a fantastic time celebrating with all of you.
