The Waste World Cup, held annually in support of Waste Aid, this year took place on 28th June. Channelling our inner Jude Bellinghams, a Shred Station team of ten battled to bring home another trophy.
On the pitch this year, we had (from left to right):

Lloyd (Norwich Warehouse Manager).
While most of the team had taken part in the Waste World Cup previously, for three members of the team, it was their first time. Izzy, Aston, and Aurora did amazingly well and helped to secure the third-place trophy – a glass decanter. We asked the team what their most enjoyable parts of the day were, and they said:
Spending the day with the team and having a good time
Playing the semi-final which ended in a penalty shootout
Luke and Tom getting sin-binned in the first game
Winning the decanter
The bus journey back – involving karaoke!
