Demolition

Shred Station’s Special Projects team can assist with any urgent, unusual, or seemingly impossible requests over and above your typical destruction services. This includes demolition services.

Our skilled team of Special Projects operatives can assist with any demolition services you may need - large or small. The team has experience dismantling, demolishing and clearing everything from large warehouses to grain silos, gantries and internal walls.

Our building demolition service includes the delivery of a pre-demolition safety package, the physical destruction of your structures, and the clearance of any waste or rubble created in the process.

Demolition services delivered by fully trained demolition contractors

Full project management

Our team can manage your project from its preparation phase to clearing your site post-demolition. We can provide all the appropriate paperwork for your team including a detailed project timeline.

The thing that sets the Special Projects team apart as a demolition service provider is the broader scope of services available. Where a dedicated demolition contractor may not offer services like machinery dismantling and movement, our team can. We can take on any size demolition project UK-wide and even have a dedicated Special Projects Instagram account, so you can see the huge range of projects we work on.

Environmental considerations

Where some demolition contractors may dump all of your rubble and demolition waste into landfill, Shred Station’s Special Projects team will not. As with all the services we perform, nothing we destroy will go to landfill. We will also recycle all materials possible, for instance, scrap metals.

Frequently asked questions

If your query hasn’t been answered on this page, please feel free to head over to our FAQs page for more information.

There are some restrictions around what can and cannot be demolished. For example, listed buildings and structures within conservation areas require extensive permissions before demolition is approved. For this reason, we will require proof of approval before we can begin work.

In terms of the physical demolition, we’ve never yet come across something we’ve not been able to demolish. However, if you are unsure, or if your requirements are particularly complex, our team is happy to discuss and provide a range of potential options.

We can handle all waste, including hazardous waste. However, we do require notice of any hazardous materials before the project starts. This will ensure our team and any of your staff on-site are kept safe throughout the process.

We aren’t a dedicated demolition company, but our customers often tell us this is what sets us apart.

Our Special Projects team has extensive experience with not just demolition, but a diverse range of other vital skills that come hand-in-hand with things like building demolition and large-scale projects, for instance, machinery movement. This places our team in quite a unique position of being able to offer a safe and fully comprehensive service that a demolition contractor may not be able to provide. This means we can manage any project you have as the principal contractor. As well as simplifying your supply chain, this removes the usual snags you might expect as an internal Project Manager, for example, one supplier being delayed and these delays having a knock-on effect for other suppliers.

We are fully insured, and our safety-first approach and personalised solutions allow for a seamless service that suits you.
