"Since early 2022, we have been with Shred Station on a national contract covering over 100 sites with varying collection arrangements. The support to exit our previous contract and mobilise was top class, and since entering into the contract with Shred Station, we have been incredibly impressed at having no service issues, especially given the complexity of some of our locations within wider NHS premises. We are proud to partner with a provider who demonstrably helps us achieve carbon reductions, which come about thanks to the passion of the Shred Station team."

Alex Blatherwick,
HCRG Care Group.

"While tendering for a confidential paper destruction service, along with the regular shredding accreditations, we were looking for a company that prioritises the current global greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability issues. Shred Station has shown this by being a CarbonNeutral® certified company, and along with their fantastic recycling results and great service, they are also helping QBE and PrimeClean achieve their own sustainability and carbon footprint goals."

Cliff Burns,
Prime Clean.

"Our key contact at Shred Station is superb and always willing to help - especially as we get various last-minute requests for urgent collections or changes to collections that are planned. Particularly, the on-site staff I’ve had to deal with in person for the service at Edinburgh Airport have been exemplary."

Fully accredited corporate shredding services

A YouGov study commissioned by the BSIA showed that 97% of large businesses have paper waste streams for confidential documents in place. This is because large organisations know how vital it is to remain compliant with the Data Protection Act and GDPR.

Secure confidential waste disposal services are one of the best ways organisations can ensure sensitive materials aren’t mishandled or kept for longer than necessary. To ensure the shredding service company you choose is reputable, you need to look at its accreditations. See our long list of accreditations and certifications by clicking on the button below.

Key benefits of a regular service

  • Compliance with data protection legislation

A regular service where employees are encouraged to treat all paperwork as confidential prevents the risk of confidential materials being disposed of incorrectly and simplifies data disposal for your employees.

  • Portal access

Our regular customers are able to access our secure online portal. There, you can view and download upcoming service schedules, collection history, invoices, reports, historic Waste Transfer Notes and all of your Certificates of Destruction from anywhere, 24/7. This allows you to demonstrate your audit trail with a few clicks of a button, making your confidential waste audits easier.

  • MI reports

We can provide regular reports showing the volume of materials collected from your sites and the resources saved by using our paper shredding services. These are extremely useful if your organisation monitors waste volumes and environmental impacts.

  • Carbon neutral services

We are a lifetime CarbonNeutral® certified company, meaning all of the services we provide are delivered with neutralised emissions. By using Shred Station, you can reduce your organisation’s Scope 3 waste emissions, helping you in your pursuit of net-zero.

UK-wide services available

Our services are available across the UK. Wherever your organisation has sites, there will be Shred Station vehicles in the local area on a regular basis.

Frequently asked questions

See our customers’ frequently asked questions. If your query isn’t answered below, please feel free to head over to our FAQs page for more information.

For day-to-day queries or to book collections, our highly responsive, fully trained Customer Service Team can assist.

For larger contracts where a dedicated Account Manager is required, this can be arranged. We will discuss these options with you, and contact details will be provided on contract award.

Our experienced Customer Service team is available Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm and Friday 8am-5pm to assist with all general enquiries about your collections.

For larger contracts where an Account Manager is required, an Account Manager will be dedicated to your account to support the Customer Service Team. They will be your point of contact for service monitoring, general catch-ups, and any issues that arise. All contact details will be provided on contract award.

We offer our regular customers MI reporting. These reports detail the weight of paper waste collected and the environmental impact data showing the reduction in impact (including CO2 emissions and water saved) by recycling your paper waste with us. We can also provide more bespoke reporting, including costings as well as weight per service.

We provide these reports as Excel file via email for easy search and manipulation of the data. These are provided upon request to reports@shredstation.co.uk - or we can provide these reports weekly or monthly, if required.

For larger contracts, we will create a bespoke mobilisation plan. This will include a timeline chart with key milestone dates.

We will ensure a smooth transition by working with your incumbent provider to confirm final shred dates. We will arrange regular calls with the incumbent supplier and your sites to confirm delivery dates and any site-specific information. We will also ensure your sites are not left without confidential waste containers. Temporary containers can be arranged if incumbent suppliers take their containers away unexpectedly or ahead of schedule.

All mobilisation projects receive Director-level leadership and will be orchestrated by an experienced Account Manager.

Shred Station is a lifetime carbon-neutral certified company. That means every service we provide is delivered with neutralised carbon emissions. We undergo an annual assessment of our carbon emissions to earn this certification. Any emissions we haven’t yet been able to reduce, we offset through strictly verified offsetting projects in line with the requirements of The CarbonNeutral Protocol. We publish these assessments and the projects we use on our website for full transparency.

We know that offsetting alone isn’t enough. That’s why we take many steps to reduce emissions and support the Sustainable Development Goals. This includes operating with a Zero to Landfill policy and using low-emission vehicles. You can read more about our commitments to reducing emissions in the 'about' section of our website.

We will send a live service tracking link on the day of your service, confirming your route position and the driver’s current position. You are also welcome to phone our customer service team the working day before your collection is due for a rough estimated time of arrival.

For services where we dedicate a vehicle to your collection, e.g. full-day or multiple-day shredding services, we can accommodate your required start and finish times. Our sales team will be able to discuss these options with you.

We can, but additional charges may apply.
