The Awards for Excellence ceremony was held on 16th May 2024 at The Grosvenor Hotel, Park Lane, London. There were 20 award categories in total, and we are thrilled to have been named as finalists in two of these categories!

Paper Recycling Business of the Year
The Paper Recycling Business of the Year award aims to recognise a paper recycling business which has provided a consistent and thorough service for its customers.
At Shred Station, our review scores speak for themselves. With an average score of 4.9*/5 on Feefo and with several years of being awarded the Platinum Trusted Service Provider accolade, it’s safe to say that our customers are happy with the service they receive from us. Customer care is at the heart of what we do.

Health & Safety Initiative of the Year
The Health & Safety Initiative of the Year award aims to recognise an initiative to raise health and safety standards within a waste management or recycling business. One of the key areas the judges considered for this category was the replicability of the initiative. Our health and safety initiatives are highly adoptable, affordable, and practical. Similar initiatives could easily be adopted by other businesses in the waste management industry.
Between 2023 and 2024, we digitised all of our health and safety reporting and maintenance records. We also rolled out two new digital training platforms with 3,564 courses completed by our workforce in 2023 alone. All of these changes have been made under our main HSEQ initiative – implementing an HSEQ culture change across the company.
