Our Norwich depot is conveniently located and easy to find. We are just 15 minutes by car from Norwich city centre, based on the Rackheath Industrial Estate.

Norwich train station is based on the Great Eastern Main Line and boasts a direct link to London in less than 2 hours. Our office is a short taxi ride from the station.

Starting in Norfolk in 2008 with just one shredding vehicle, we’re now the world’s largest independent shredding company. We now have over 100 shredding vehicles and service Norwich, King’s Lynn, Cambridge, Peterborough, Ely, Bury St Edmunds, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Ipswich on a daily or weekly basis. Our local and national customers can expect a full range of services, including secure document shredding, hard drive destruction, product destruction, textile destruction, degaussing, and much more. For our local customers, we can even accept a depot drop-off service – please call in advance to arrange a drop-off.

Our confidential shredding services are fully accredited, meeting all UK GDPR and Data Protection Act requirements that businesses must adhere to regarding data destruction. All of our residential and commercial shredding services are also performed in line with EN15713 security shredding standards, as demonstrated by our ISO 9001 and ISO 14004 certifications. Both of these certifications, along with our UKSSA membership, require EN15713 standards to be met as part of the certification process. Not only that, but every service we provide is CarbonNeutral® certified.

Our facilities

With Norwich being the birthplace of Shred Station, it’s no surprise we’ve invested heavily in our paper shredding and data destruction facilities at our Norwich depot. The depot boasts a state-of-the-art industrial shredder capable of shredding 110-120 tonnes of paper every day. All of this paper is recycled at UK mills. We also have two slightly smaller shredders at the site – one for textiles and one for media items.

In the community

At Shred Station, we understand the importance of supporting our local community. We are proud to be involved with the sponsorship of many local sports teams, charities and events, and even host our own community shredding events.

We are also delighted to have been part of local inspiring art projects such as the GoGo trails, where we have sponsored several sculptures in aid of the local charity, Break.
